Friend recommended that I contact a good gunsmith to have the barrel re-bedded to the stock. The barrel is also not bedded correctly and seems to move around quite a bit. The small ring where the chamber meets the top rear part of the stock is really loose and that whole part of the stock with the grooves in it is also loose. I know from some research that the NZ mark is for New Zealand but what does that actually mean? Was it issued to New Zealand troops?Īs you can see there are different numbers next to the NZ mark than on the bolt and wrist.
